Guasha Tutorial: Virtual Class: Lift, Sculpt, Rejuvenate

There are subtle tricks to get better results from a guasha routine, and a few things to avoid to prevent causing damage. With this virtual class, you'll learn how to initiate your lymphatic system for healthier skin and to improve de-puffing efforts, location of acupressure points on the face for lifting, and a few massage and facial yoga skills to add as you need. 

What can guasha help with? With proper use: 

lift and sculpt

de-puff 

diminish fine lines and wrinkles 

brighten eye area

release tension, soothe tmj

increase blood flow to improve skin tone

improve hair growth

That’s asking a lot of a little tool and a few minutes a few times a week! Consistency is key, but technique makes a LOT of difference. Social media is full of people who have made this work for them, but so many are still not sure how they should be using the tool, direction, pressure, and timing.

A little about the techniques to be shared! I'm Brooke, owner of The Road, a studio for TCM facial modalities in Austin. I have studied guasha and lymphatic from mentors for many years, including in other countries. While receiving this treatment in clinic has many subtleties best suited to being performed by a professional, with a little guidance, you can make the most of an easy to perform routine to create meaningful change in the appearance of your face and skin. 

I strongly believe you can do this by understanding how to learn the nuances of your own soft tissue structures, with your own two hands. Teach a man to fish and all.
